Do you know where your cheese is coming from? If you don't, it's a wise decision to minimize your cheese intake. Cheese is known to cause inflammation, upset our stomachs, and more. Because I have Lyme's Disease, it was a no-brainer to eliminate it from my diet!
BUT, what about some of my favorite things? Like Nachos and Pizza's and spaghetti and meatballs?! (please read that last sentence to the song from Sound of Music haha)...well I got the Nachos part done, but what about my Za??
Be still my heart, Nutritional Yeast is here to save us again (literally put it on anything that you would usually put cheese on!)
I'm going to give you the basics of what makes my pizza. As far as toppings go though--go crazy!
PIZZA:
1 Ezekiel Wrap (in frozen organic section of store)
1/3 cup of organic tomato sauce
Endless amounts of Nutritional Yeast
(insert your toppings: veggies, meat, etc)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Defrost wrap before putting it in the oven for 3 minutes to crisp up
In the mean time cook toppings if need be
Take wrap out of oven--put tomato sauce and cooked toppings on
Heat in oven for 4 minutes
Take out and cover in nutritional yeast, put back in oven for 3 more minutes or until crisp to your liking
